Bay of Islands Activities

The Bay of Islands includes Kerikeri, Paihia, Russell, Opua and Waitangi. All these places are easy to reach from Kerikeri Holiday Park and Motels. Many of the activity operators operate a pick up service from the park or you can drive yourself. Paihia is famous for being the starting point for Bay of Islands cruises and boat trips. Russell is a historical village, the location of New Zealand's first capital. Russell can be reached by passenger ferry from Paihia or car ferry from Opua. Waitangi is the home of the Waitangi Treaty Grounds - a stunning setting for a significant event of both cultural historical significance to New Zealanders.
