Beaches

[singlepic id=84 w=320 h=240 float=left]Some of New Zealand’s most photographed beaches and bays are just a short drive from from Kerikeri Holiday Park & Motels.

Opito Bay is a lovely safe beach just 15 minutes away.  A short walk from Opito Bay will take you to Ake Ake Point, where beautiful views right over the Bay of Islands await you.
Matauri Bay is a stunning beach about 30 minutes drive from from Kerikeri Holiday Park & Motels. Matauri Bay is renowned for world-class diving opportunities, including exploring the wreck of the Greenpeace flagship, the Rainbow Warrior.
Te Ngaere Bay, close to Matauri Bay, is a family favourite and a nice safe beach. Pack your sunscreen and stay the whole day.
Takou Bay is a beautiful surf beach that very few tourists know about – and we’d prefer it’s kept that way, so we won’t give you the directions until you arrive here! Just 25 minutes from from Kerikeri Holiday Park & Motels, Takou Bay is a real slice of paradise.
You can also travel by boat from Paihia to the many beaches of  the islands in the Bay of Islands. Paihia is only 20 mins drive from Kerikeri Holiday Park & Motels. A wide range of commercial boat tours are available and can pick you up from our reception.
Doubtless Bay is only 40 mins drive from Kerikeri Holiday Park & Motels. You’ll be spoilt for choice when you do a day trip up to Mangonui, Coopers Beach, Cable Bay, Taupo Bay, Tauranga Bay and the Karikari Peninsula.
